Job Summary

Under the direction of the Director, Maintenance, Operations and Transportation (MOT), plans, organize, assigns, directs and reviews the maintenance and operations activities involved at all PAUSD sites. This requirement for this position includes: construction, repair and maintenance of District buildings, property, grounds and equipment. Assist in property maintenance and modernization planning and implementation, communications with internal and external stakeholders, personnel management, and resource allocation to meet District maintenance and operational needs. Assure smooth and efficient departmental activities and operations. Supervise, direct and evaluate the performance of maintenance and operations personnel.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from high school or evidence of equivalent educational proficiency. Any combination or experience equivalent to bachelor’s degree in construction management, business administration or related field and five years increasingly responsible experience in the construction, maintenance, landscape, operations and repair of building including five years in the supervision of maintenance, operations, or construction at or above the Maintenance & Operations Foreman level. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid California driver’s license.
