How to Apply: Email resume and cover letter to ascott@pausd.org The PAAS TOSA is responsible for assisting the department in preparation for the WASC midterm accreditation visit. This will involve gathering evidence to support the action plan that was created from the last WASC visit. She/He would also provide support for the CDE Federal program review, which also involves gathering many documents to support evidence of the requests by CDE. Finally, this position would also assist the ESL Program Coordinator to align the curriculum to the new learning standards that have recently been released.

CA Adult Ed Teaching Credential and TESL/TEFL certificate required. MA in TESOL or Linguistics preferred. Minimum 1 year classroom teaching experience, preferably at the intermediate level. Knowledge of CASAS testing, curriculum development, El Civics curricula, program coordination, and collaborative learning practices helpful.
