REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION: •Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. •Must have an AA degree or higher or at least 48 semester units or pass an Assessment test. •Must have 12 semester units of Early Childhood Education courses and one year experience working with children in an instructional capacity. •Valid Child Development Associate Teacher Permit (or higher) issued by the State of California Commission on Teacher Credentialing required. •Copy of valid First Aid and CPR certificates. •Knowledge of basic concepts used in Early Childhood Education. •Knowledge of oral and written communication skills. •Knowledge of appropriate safety and health precautions and procedures. •Ability to interact with children and adults in an effective manner. •Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. •Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with children. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
