Substitute Office Assistant for elementary school. 3 hours per day appx 12noon - 3PM M-F. Assist the school secretary to perform a wide variety of clerical and office duties.

Under general superviasion, to perform a wide variety of clerical and computer work of average difficulty; and to do related work as required.
Works within a framework of established procedures and is expected to perform a wide variety of clerical, typing, and computer duties with only occasional instruction or assistance. Adequate performance at this level requires the departmental procedures and precedents and the ability to choose among a limited number of alternatives in solving routine problems.
Examples of Duties:
Answers phones, helps students, staff, parents and the general public, providing information as required.
Records attendance information, including data entry into the district student information system. Prepares letters, memos, bulletins and other material from oral direction or notes.
May receive, sort and distribute mail, act as a receptionist, register new students, file documents and records.
