Minimum Qualifications: Knowledge of: Current practices in the automotive field, ASE & NATEF certification, and general philosophy of ROP and instructional methodology. Ability to: Organize content knowledge for student learning, create an environment for student learning, relate to high school age youth and adults, work effectively as a member of an educational team, communicate effectively both written and orally. Education & Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in the automotive field. Must hold or be eligible for the Designated Subjects Vocational Credential in Automotive Occupations and CLAD Certification. Previous teaching experience desirable. Desired Qualifications: 1. Possession of a valid California Teaching Credential and/or Administrative Credential. 2. Five (5) years of experience teaching and/or counseling in a school setting. 3. Experience as a presenter, coach, and/or facilitator for teachers, counselors and/or administrators.
