Choices Charter School is a FREE, WASC-accredited (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) public charter school serving grades 6-12 and offering a flexible, personalized independent study program that empowers students and their families. Since 1999, we have provided a safe, nurturing, and highly customizable learning environment for students seeking an alternative to the traditional school model. Our dedicated faculty builds meaningful relationships, supports diverse learning needs, and helps students grow through standards-aligned online curriculum, hybrid learning options, A-G coursework, CTE pathways, college credit opportunities, onsite support, and robust student services. We are a dependent charter school authorized by the San Juan Unified School District and serve approximately 300 students across Sacramento County and the eight surrounding counties.
