Requirements / Qualifications

Requirements / Qualifications

Any combination equivalent to: Master's Degree from an accredited school in one of the following: social work; school/educational counseling or related field marriage, family, and child counseling; marital and family therapy or related field. A minimum of one (1) year experience working with students in need of mental health services. Experience working with students with special needs. A minimum of one (1) year experience developing and delivering training to parents, school district, staff and/or community-based organizations. Preferred: Possession of, or eligibility for, a valid certificate of registration as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Professional Counselor issued by the California State Board of Behavioral Sciences. OR Must be registered and maintain active registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) Associate Intern Only completely filled application will be considered. All fields on the work experience section must be completed. A resume will not be accepted in lieu and your application will be disqualified. Mark field that are “not applicable” as “N/A”.
