AA degree in Library Science preferred. EXPERIENCE: Over one year of paid or volunteer experience performing similar work with school-age children, i.e. instructional aide, teacher assistant, babysitting, child care. Experience as an instructional aide or paraprofessional in an educational setting preferred. SKILLS: Must be No Child Left Behind compliant through locally developed assessment or have 48 college units. Candidates who meet MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS, but lack NCLB certification will be scheduled for an exam.
