Pace Academy of Cypress is an after-school tutoring center in need of an AP Chemistry and/or AP Biology tutor. We are looking for applicants who can work starting immediately. Classes will be held in the afternoons, Monday through Friday, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, however applicants who are available any time between 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM for any of the days in the week will be considered.

We are looking for certified teachers, college graduates, and students from any science major, preferably Chemistry and/or Biology (or students from any other major but have tutored these subjects for a long time). College students must have at least a junior standing in school and be available to work during the hours listed. Tutors who are tenacious and have a lot of patience will be highly considered.

Job Description: 
Tutors are needed to teach AP Chemistry and/or AP Biology to high school students. Being able to teach other science subjects is a plus, but applicants must be able to teach AP Chemistry and/or AP Biology, specifically. Teachers will be given a list of students that they are responsible for each day and must meet with all of those students individually or in small groups. You will not be required to lecture; however, we will provide any curriculum or materials that you may need to teach the students.

Pay rate:
Pay rate is based on experience and qualifications.
