Education:
Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade. Must currently be attending a college or university or intending to begin college in the current fall semester. Grade point average of 3.0 or better in the subject area needed. 

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
Reinforce programs taught by classroom teachers during the instructional day; Monitor student progress; perform related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to:
• Speak English clearly and well
• Recommendations from at least two teachers or administrators at their school site
• Dependable, punctual, cooperative

Physical and Mental Requirements:
Must pass physical for Class II back: clerical and light physical work only.

Included but not limited to:
• Repetitive use of both hands
• Average dexterity with both hands
• Correctable vision sufficient to meet DMV standards
• Average physical mobility
• Clarity of speech sufficient to communicate with the public and students
