Requirements / Qualifications

This posting is open only to current Fullerton School District substitute teachers interested in being considered for the priority substitute program. The program will establish and maintain a pool of priority substitutes that must be available on a daily basis to all schools. Interested substitutes must have the following qualifications: 1) Must have substitute taught 30 or more days within two consecutive months in the 16/17 school year with F.S.D. 2) Submit two letters of recommendation from F.S.D. staff (one must be from a Principal) 3) Must not have any negative feedback reports from schools or teachers.

An Aesop printout of your substitute teacher work history for the current school year must be submitted along with two letters of recommendation from F.S.D. staff (one letter from a Principal). You may obtain your work history by clicking on the "History" tab from your Aesop home page, then clicking on "This School Year" in the Select Date Range section.

  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Two signed letters from FSD staff - one must be from an FSD Principal)
  • Other (A printout of your Aesop substitute teacher work history for the current school year)
