The San Juan Unified School District's Department of Educational Services is seeking a dynamic, culturally responsive leader to assume the position of Director of Equity and Student Achievement. Duties will include implementing and evaluating districtwide equity initiatives relating to student achievement, climate and access. In addition, the Director of Equity and Student Achievement will provide leadership and oversight of the development of policies, practices, programs and decisions that reduces the predictability of student failure. The Director of Equity and Student Achievement will also actively seek and implement student voice into district practices, programs and policies. Applicants must demonstrate and provide evidence of school leadership and the ability to improve student learning and achievement.
