Job Title: Physical Education Teacher (Female)

Instructor for: Elementary, Middle and High School (Grades: 1-12)

Job Description:

An-Noor Academy, an Islamic School, is seeking a full-time Female Physical Education (Gym) Teacher for students in grades 1-12. The female gym teacher will instruct both boys and girls in grades 1 thru 3.The female teacher will instruct girls only in grades 4 thru 12.

Job Responsibilities:

Female Physical Education (P.E.) Teacher will be responsible for organizing games and challenges that promote physical activity among students in grades 1-12. The gym teacher is to develop motor skills and physical development, along with proper exercise and eating habits among young boys and girls in grades 1-3, and girls in grades 4-12. PE teacher is expected to be available and interact with parents, teachers and school administrators.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

• Knowledge of different games and physical activities
• Able to communicate and demonstrate game rules and physical activities properly
• Must be able to observe all students and maintain discipline within the class
• Minimum 2 years of experience as PE/gym teacher or related field
• Any degree, diploma or certification in PE would be a plus
• Teaching experience in Islamic school preferred
