Job Summary
Miss Bee's Tutoring is looking for in-person part time or full time elementary school tutors and middle/high school tutors! Tutors for reading, math and/or science are especially needed. Miss Bee's Tutoring is a boutique learning center located on Pier Avenue in Hermosa Beach, CA. We offer small group and 1:1 tutoring to our students in a relaxed and friendly environment, and are expanding our services to offer mixed virtual and in-person learning come the new school year. We are seeking teachers and tutors with a passion for education, excellent subject knowledge, top-notch communication skills, and a happy demeanor. We are looking to fill schedules 25-40 hours a week, and have parents and students that can't wait to meet their new tutor!
Requirements / Qualifications
Applicant Requirements: Multiple Subject Credential with experience teaching children ages K through 12 (if you are getting your teaching credential and feel confident in this subject matter please apply!) Experience teaching Eureka Math/ Engage NY and familiarity with the California state standards. Flexible, positive, and fun attitude! Preferred applicants are available Monday - Thursday, especially after 2:30. If you have availability before that or on Fridays, even better! We cater to home school students as well. We offer competitive pay and the flexibility to create your own schedule! You would work alongside tutors with backgrounds/experience in education, engineering, medicine, psychology, writing, management consulting, etc.

Ideally, candidates need to commit to the remainder of the school year.

*We are open by appointment only.
*Tutors ideally are able to start right after school, but it is not required. Work schedules are flexible and based on the tutors set availability.
