Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Director of Pupil Services, the Education Specialist provides students with disabilities, a program that enables him/her to reach his/her fullest physical, emotional, psychological, and behavioral potential. Teaching basic academic, functional and social skills to educationally disabled pupils. While providing planning, curricular resources, coordination, evaluation, remediation, and direct instruction services for students with special needs placed in a special day class. Must have experience in developing behavior intervention programs.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education Specialist Instruction Credential - Early Childhood Special Education OR Provisional Internship Permit (Early Childhood Special Education)
Must be an appropriately credentialed teacher in the state of California. -Certificated Application -Letter of Interest/Cover Letter -Resume -Three Letters of Reference -Unofficial transcripts
