ALL applicants MUST possess the following experience: Successful teaching experience or training in planning to implement IEPs for children with various types of disabilities as well as significant behavioral issues associated with students with emotional disturbance. Demonstrates knowledge of curriculum, materials, and strategies for educating students with various types of disabilities. Demonstrates ability to work cooperatively with support services, including an instructional aide, physical and occupational therapist, speech therapist, adaptive physical education specialist, psychologist, and school nurse. Required Credential: Moderate/Severe Credential w/EL Authorization OR Mild/Moderate Credential w/Added Autism Authorization and EL Authorization One requirement from each bulleted group MUST be met before your application will be considered: • Complete online Application • Copy of Transcript • California Preliminary or Clear Education Specialist Credential • Letter of Introduction (addressed to Dr. Cammie Nguyen, Director of Special Education • Three current (within the past year) letters of recommendation (include one from an administrative level) • Resume
