The Fremont Unified School District (FUSD) is made up of 44 schools serving preschool-12th grade with approximately 33,000 students in grades TK-12. Materials: *Valid California (or Out-of-State) Teaching Credential with service authorization for self-contained classroom. (Example: Multiple Subject credential). *Plus, one of the following: - At least 24 units in early childhood education, or childhood development, or both. - A child development teacher permit issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

*Letter of Introduction: Please prepare letter to the attention of: Sherry Strausbaugh, Director, Certificated Personnel 4210 Technology Drive Fremont, CA 94538 *3 Letters of Recommendation (within 2 years of application date) from educators, at least one letter from an administrator or supervisor. *Resume *English Language Authorization required (ELA/CLAD). GLAD training preferred. *Passing of CBEST *Passing of CSET or SSAT *Copies of all transcripts from BA/BS and beyond. (Upon hire, original transcripts are required) *Three years successful elementary or pre-school teaching experience. As a condition of initial employment, all new hires must have a clear tuberculin exam within the past 60 days prior to beginning work with Fremont Unified School District.
