Minimum Qualifications, Education, Licenses and other Requirements 1. Bachelor’s Degree 2. Valid California Registered Nurse License 3. Valid California School Nurse Services Credential 4. Valid California School Audiometrist Certificate 5. Valid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificate and standard first aid certificate 6. Valid California Driver’s License

Upon an offer of employment, the employer will assist the candidate in applying for the required Preliminary School Nurse Services Credential which is valid for five years. Please see link to Credential leaflet for further details about the Preliminary and Clear School Nurse Credentials. We are seeking highly-qualified and fully credentialed school nurses. However, if you hold a bachelor’s degree and are an experienced licensed CA registered nurse (RN), you may qualify to apply through your employer for a preliminary School Nurse Services credential. You would need to meet the requirements and eventually hold a Clear School Nurses Services Credential which is issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC). Students currently enrolled in California credential programs may apply, but need to provide an email/letter from the recommending institution specifying enrollment and expected completion date. While we accept copies of transcripts in the Edjoin employment application, upon an offer of employment, you must provide the official documents, including undergraduate & graduate transcripts. Bilingual Spanish is a desirable asset, but not required.
