Applicants must possess a valid California Multiple Subject Credential or meet qualifications for credential authorization; CLAD/ELA Authorization required. All applicants must complete and submit the following: cover letter, resume, 3 current letters of recommendation written within the last 12 months, copy of credential(s) and transcripts (If you do not have a credential yet, you must submit a letter from your university) , and A one page written response that answers the statement, “I embody the core values of the Menlo Park City School District in the following ways…” Please review and reflect on the district’s “Mission/Vision, Core Value” available the district website prior to writing your response. Requirements / Qualifications
Valid California Credential and NCLB compliance in Music. Credential compliance can be accomplished through supplementary authorizations in Music or Single Subject credential in Music.

• Understanding of California content standards in music
• Demonstrated expertise and success in communication with parents
• Ability, experience, and willingness to supervise the mainstreaming of special education students
