2017 EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR CERTIFICATED POSTING Speech & Language Pathologist Part-time - 8 days total Schedule: June 26 – July 21; 8:00 a.m. – 11:55 a.m. M-F (no school Tuesday, in observance of July 4th) Qualifications: Master's level clinician, CCC preferred, CFY considered Knowledge of current theory and instructional practices Experience at K-8 grade level with school-based speech/language intervention Understanding of a variety of current speech/language assessments Knowledge and experience working with students on the autism spectrum Knowledge and ability to work with students on social language skills (pragmatics) Prepared to work with a wide variety of pediatric communication disorders Experience assessing students for special education eligibility for speech/language Willing to work closely with a team of professionals and parents in a small public school district Required: Valid California credential with authorization for Clinical or Rehabilitative Services--Language, Speech and Hearing
