Requirements / Qualifications
Personnel Services may assist eligible candidates in applying for the Emergency 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit or Out-of State credential holders in applying for their CA credential, when applicable. Candidates with CBEST may apply directly to the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) for an Emergency 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit at www.ctc.ca.gov . If so, please provide all copies of your direct application to your employer. All applications must be submitted online via Edjoin. Applications are reviewed by Personnel Services and eligible candidates are invited to attend a future orientation. Invitations are sent via email along with a list of "What to Bring to the Orientation". Information about fingerprint requirements and fingerprint fees for employment and/or credentialing purposes are provided at the orientation and appointments are scheduled at the end of the orientation for a future date.
