Napa Valley Unified School District has a .80 FTE Permanent and .20 FTE temporary English Teacher position at New Tech High School. Using advanced computer skills, this teacher will plan, carry out, evaluate and supervise instructional activities in English for groups and individual high school students. Must be a creative, collaborative, flexible teacher willing to innovate, and implement Project Based Learning in an integrated English 12/Government/Economics, English 11/American History, English 10/World History, or English 9/Drama/Art. The applicant must have a willingness to embrace technology-based, project and standards-based learning. Candidates must hold and English Learner Authorization (ELA) or be eligible for an Emergency ELA permit while working on earning an ELA.
