EDUCATION: - A Master’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution of higher education - A valid California Administrative Services Credential EXPERIENCE: - At leave five (5) years of increasingly responsible leadership experience in an educational setting leading teams or large projects/programs. - Has successful experience or high quality preparation in curriculum design, e.g., developing curriculum, and coordinating curriculum within an Adult School. - Has successful experience or high quality preparation in overseeing the delivery of curriculum, e.g., high quality instruction coordination of curriculum within and across departments and the use of feedback data in the improvement of the Adult School educational programs. - Knowledge of guidelines and associated titles of Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA). - Experience in Career Technical Education and/or Adult Education. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: - Biliterate in English and any other language. - Experience in working with underrepresented populations. - Knowledge of curriculum alignment, authentic assessment and learning theory. - Knowledge of technology trends to improve education.
