Looking for a Middle School Science teacher with at least 3 years experience.
Teach middle school Science curriculum (grades 6-8)
1. Preparing and delivering ability- and age-appropriate curricula for both accelerated and regular classes
2. Demonstrating hands-on activities
3. Assigning homework, including supplemental reading and science projects
4. Evaluating student performance on tests, reports and lab activities
5. Collaborating with other teachers, staff, students and parents to support student progress
6. Staying current on the latest technology and scientific discoveries
7. Coordinating school science fairs
Emek Hebrew Academy is a community school, based upon the Orthodox tradition, but welcoming to students from all levels of observance.
Student Population: 770 K-8
Current staff population: 90+
