Requirements for Applying

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION: To develop student’s appreciation of music, to teach techniques of vocal and/or instrumental music expression. To develop knowledge and skills in listening and reading music. To provide an educational program for middle school students, to assist in other school programs as assigned, to maintain control, preserve suitable learning conditions, evaluate student progress and performs other school job related duties. QUALIFICATIONS: possess a valid California Teaching Credential authorizing service in Vocal and/or Instrumental Music at middle school grade levels and have a current California driver’s license. Bachelor’s degree with music major or minor desirable. Applicants selected for employment will be required to submit fingerprinting at their own expense.

Exeter’s population is about 10,350 and our city leaders are determined to retain our small town charm while making room for conservative growth. Exeter has a variety of antique stores, specialty shops, services, restaurants and lodging. Exeter has a long tradition of annual events and festivals.
