As a project based school, class curricula are centered around projects, which teach students the essential skills and knowledge of a course.

RISE is a hybrid learning model that combines an online learning platform with project-based, real-world learning to ensure a flexible and rigorous academic experience. RISE High was chosen as one of the ten XQ Super School winners and is in the process of planning and preparing for its second year in August 2018. Examples of these experiences include field trips, ACT/SAT prep, career readiness workshops, and health and fitness classes.
