We strive to be data driven and focused on results while promoting humanity, kindness, and personal responsibility.  We are proud to provide a supportive environment of collaboration among our staff.

Although we have made progress, we still still have work to do to ensure college and career readiness for all of our students. In order to equip students with the necessary skills for their future success, we are committed to immediate and lasting change and thus are proud to announce the Early Hiring Initiative.

We know that high quality teachers are key to our students’ success and are working to retain and recruit passionate and effective talent. The CUHSD Early Hiring Initiative guarantees selected and qualified teachers credentialed in high need subject areas a streamlined process to sign a teaching contract as early as this spring.

Applicants will be asked to provide a tailored cover letter, answer written prompts and in some cases, complete a phone interview. We know quality teachers are in demand and so we offer additional incentives including:

  • A competitive salary schedule including signing bonuses of $1000-1500
  • Exceptional benefits packages to all employees serving at 50% time. Staff have the choice of five medical plans including full family coverage
