Mardan is a not for profit school for students in grades K through 12 with special academic, social, and emotional needs. We are located in Irvine CA. Our mission is to improve the academic and emotional well-being of any child who struggles with learning, social, and/or emotional challenges. We provide a safe, therapeutic learning environment that teaches the academic, social, and coping skills needed for students to experience success.
Job Description / Essential Elements:

Part-time (20-25 hours per week) or full time (30-40 hours per week) SLP serving children within a private special education school for Pre-K thru 12th-grade students of average or higher cognitive ability, with social, emotional, and learning issues. Services provided on individual and small group (2-3) basis, focusing on issues that include articulation, fluency, pragmatics, and social skills/social communication.
In addition to performing direct service, the candidate will draft goals and attend IEP meetings.
The candidate must hold a current, valid CA license. ASHA membership is a plus.
The part-time position requires 20-25 hours per week and will supplement our existing SLP caseload. Days and times are flexible between 9:00 AM and 2:30 PM
The full-time position requires 30-40 hours per week. School hours are from 8:15 AM to 2:45 PM. IEP meetings typically occur before or after school hours.Compensation is negotiable.
The Therapist MUST become an employee of the organization.
