JOB SYNOPSIS The job of Office/School Secretary is done for the purpose(s) of providing secretarial duties to support assigned administrative personnel; communicating information to staff, students, the public, and other districts; ensuring compliance with financial, legal and administrative requirements; and providing information and/or direction as may be requested. A complete application must meet the criteria listed below and must have the following documents attached: *Letter of Introduction (must specifically reference the Office/School Secretary position) *Supplemental Questionnaire *Resume *Letter(s) of Recommendation (Must attach 2 letters of recommendation that are dated within the last two years of the position closing date) *Application is filled out completely (no blank spaces) *Typing Certificate (Must be at least a 5-minute timed typing test, must indicate a minimum of 45 net wpm, and must be dated within the last 12 months) Experience: Job related experience is required. One year of experience in clerical and/or secretarial work including experience in typing reports and general office correspondence, making arrangements for meetings and travel and performing other clerical/secretarial duties for management staff. Education: High school diploma or equivalent Testing requirements: Once this position closes, your application will be screened for minimum qualifications.
