The Fremont Unified School District (FUSD) is made up of 44 schools serving preschool-12th grade with approximately 33,000 students in grades TK-12. Valid California Teaching Credential authorizing Adult Education, designated subjects in Early Childhood Education (ECE), English as a Second Language. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.

Please prepare the following: * Resume * Letter of Introduction, prepared to attention of: Sherry Strausbaugh, Director of Certificate Personnel, Fremont Unified School District, 4210 Technology Drive, Fremont, CA 94538 * Copies of all transcripts from BA/BS and beyond. * 3 Letters of Recommendation (within 2 years) from educators, at least one letter from an administrator or supervisor. As a condition of initial employment, all new hires must have a clear tuberculin exam within the past 60 days prior to beginning work with Fremont USD.

Description: Teach an Early Childhood Education Preparatory Course to adult ESL, ABE, and ASE students. · Use research-based methods and educational technology in instruction · Administer required assessments and monitor student learning outcomes · Follow school policies · Participate in staff meetings and in professional development opportunities Requirements: · California Teaching Credential authorizing to teach English/ESL/ABE/ECE · At least 2 years of experience teaching ESL or ABE to adults. · Strong computer skills and class management skills.
