EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: A typical qualifying background would include any combination of: Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, public administration, or related field and five (5) years of professional accounting experience in a public agency with at least two (2) years in a supervisory capacity. School district experience highly preferred. Any other combination of education, training, and experience that could likely provide the desired skills, knowledge, and abilities may be considered. WORKING CONDITIONS: The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 70% sitting, 20% walking, and 10% standing. The job is performed in a generally clean and healthy environment.

OPEN TESTING: Open to employees of the District and the public with the selection process resulting in one (1) Eligibility List that will be used to fill current vacancies and any future vacancies that occur within one (1) year or until the list becomes exhausted. Current permanent employees of the District will be awarded seniority points as per the contract. All properly completed applications will be reviewed and the most highly qualified candidates will be invited to continue in the selection process. The process may consist of an evaluation and scoring of application materials, written testing, oral interview and/or performance test to evaluate the applicant’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies.
