          St. Ignatius Parish School is in the process of hiring a part time Extended Day supervisor for the 2016-17 school-year. Experience working in a school extended day program is preferred. Our extended day program is available to all enrolled students TK-8, and averages about 80 students per day. Throughout the day, a strong emphasis is placed on our Catholic faith and its growth in our students and the student’s progress towards achievement of the School-wide Learning Expectations of Faith, Action, Integrity, Thought, and Health. Desirable qualities include: • Has experience working with children • Is a faith filled role model • Values routine, structure, and organization • High expectations, but is compassionate Essential Functions: • Supervise students during homework, activities, and free play • Serve after school snack to students • Engage with students and parents • Coordinate weekly activities Position Specifications/Requirements: • Must be 18 years of age or older. • Must complete the pre-application statement and applicant questionnaire and submit WITH your resume • Hired applicants will be required to receive fingerprint clearance from FBI and DOJ, provide proof of negative TB test, and complete Shield the Vulnerable online program. • Must function in a manner consistent with the mission of the Catholic Church, Diocese of Sacramento, and the school. • Must support and believe in the school’s philosophy and mission. • Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality in all school matters. • Must have good interpersonal communication skills • Must exhibit tact and good decision making in performance of duties. • Must be professional and neat in appearance, punctual, encouraging, and helpful.
