ACCOUNTING ANALYST BASIC FUNCTIONS – Pending Board Approval: Under limited direction, the Accounting Analyst performs complex and accurate fiscal and budget analysis, reconciliations, and postings. The essential functions include tasks such as preparation and assistance in the preparation of financial statements, reports, project proposals, and attendance reports; audits of records and project expenditures for compliance with GAAP, Federal and State laws and regulations; and related work as required, consistent with the job description. Skills/Knowledge: Perform fundamental principles and practices of accounting in a public agency setting. Qualifications: Associates Degree in accounting or business administration preferred. Salary Range: CSEA salary schedule placement: Level 26
