University Intern Credentials, Provisional Internship, Short-Term Staff Permit BASIC FUNCTIONS: The Speech/Language Specialist identifies, assesses, remediates and evaluates progress of pupils having speech and/or language handicaps. Is available upon request to principals, teachers and parents to serve in an advisory capacity and to act as a resource person within the community.
