To learn more, please continue reading about this posted opportunity. **PENDING ALL PROPER APPROVALS FOR JOB DESCRIPTION** SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The purpose of a Director of Child Nutrition Services is to direct nutrition and warehouse programs and services; provide information and serve as a resource to others; achieve defined objectives by planning, evaluating, developing, implementing, and maintaining services in compliance with established guidelines; and serve as a member of the leadership team. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, nutrition, or related field and five (5) years increasingly responsible food service operations experience. School district or public sector experience is highly desirable. WORKING CONDITIONS: Office environment. Driving in a vehicle to conduct work.

LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: Valid California driver's license. Valid Food Handler's Certificate. SPECIAL INFORMATION: Offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a drug test, TB test, fingerprinting and may include a physical exam. The physical and drug screen are paid for by the District. The fingerprint cost is $23.00 and is paid for by the candidate.

Promotional candidates will have their seniority points added to their final score. The selection process will start with an evaluation and scoring of application materials. A limited number of candidates demonstrating the strongest qualifications will be invited to proceed in the examination process. Candidates in the top three (3) ranks of eligibles will be invited to participate in a final interview. The EdJoin system will time-out after a 20 minute period of perceived inactivity. Your responses to the supplemental questions are limited to 5,000 characters. A completed on-line application is required of all applicants to be considered for this opening.
