SDCOE is recruiting to fill a vacancy for a Payroll Systems Analyst in Internal Business, Payroll Services Unit. Under general direction, this position performs complex, advanced level payroll and compensation duties requiring independent judgment and analysis, including researching and reconciling payroll and benefit data, preparing a variety of complex payroll related reports, and assisting COE staff in interpreting and applying payroll and benefit rules and regulations. This position requires the following education and experience: completion of college level coursework in accounting, business, finance or related field, and four years of technical payroll experience. California public school district or County Office of Education payroll experience and PeopleSoft experience are highly desirable.
