Requirements / Qualifications
Required Experience must be in a public school setting: Eight years of successful full-time public school district certificated service A minimum of three years experience as a teacher in a K-12 program A minimum of two years experience in an elementary instructional program grades Pre K through 6 And one of the following: A minimum of one year of service in an administrative or supervisory position utilizing an administrative credential A minimum of one year of experience in a school based assistant principal level position Three years verifiable full-time experience in a school based leadership non-classroom assignment, such as coordinator, instructional coach, or dean Minimum Requirements include: All minimum requirements must be met on or before the filing deadline. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that documentation of minimum requirements is on file with the Human Resources Administrative Selection Unit. The school is located at 3201 W 8th Street, in the mid-city area of Los Angeles in the Koreatown/Pico Union neighborhood.
