Job Description / Essential Elements:    Print   
Under the direction of the Building Principal, the Administrative Clerk I (Consolidated Application) is responsible for the following assigned clerical, record keeping and educational duties related to the implementation of the School Level Plan. Areas of Specific Responsibility I.Clerical A.Files materials according to Consolidated Application rules. B.Maintains an accurate system for filing entries and records related to School Level Plan and its Consolidated Application Program. C.Types all advisory committees documents, project applications, and other such materials related to School Level Plan, and Consolidated Application Program. D.Proofreads accurately all materials. E.Assists the school staff with collection of project related data such as attendance, language assessment, student participation, etc. II.Record Keeping A.Keeps neat, complete, up-to-date, and accurate records as required by the project’s rules and regulations. B.Familiarizes self with the various sources from which the needed information for record keeping be obtained. C.Assembles information for the purpose of record keeping. D.Maintains an adequate supply of all necessary district and state forms related to the School Level Plan and Consolidated Application Program. E.Maintains attendance and participation records for project participants. III. Adjunct Duties A.Verifies accuracy of all information provided. B.Spells, punctuates, and uses appropriate and correct grammar in both written and oral work. C.Answers routine questions appropriately and accurately D.Assists periodically with the instructional program. E.When necessary serves as translator for School Advisory Committee. IV. Personal Qualities A.Exercises care in appearance, posture, grooming, dress, and social decorum. B.Maintains a professional working relationship with other employees. C.Accepts constructive criticism from the Principal and takes positive action in the light of such criticism. D.Demonstrates qualities of initiative, dependability, resourcefulness, and industry. E.Cooperates and works well with others. V.Qualifications Preferred A.High School Graduate B.One year office experience or related clerical duties. C.45 words per minute typing skill D.Pacific Telephone Company Training Program E.Bilingual (English/Spanish) F.Biliterate (English/Spanish)
