The Dinuba Unified School District School Nurse is under the direction of the Director of Special Student Services and is responsible for providing a variety of health care services to students.
Requirements / Qualifications
1. Possess a valid School Nurse Service Credential OR meet the eligibility requirements for the credential: a. baccalaureate or higher degree from a regionally-accredited college or university. b. Valid Registered Nurse License issued by the State of California. 2. Conduct immunization programs pursuant to California Education Code, Section 49403, of the California Code of Regulations. 3. Assess and evaluate the health and developmental status of pupils. 4. Interpret medical and nursing findings appropriate to the student’s individualized education program and make recommendations to professional personnel directly involved.
1. Certificated application; 2. Letter of introduction; 3. Resume; 4. Three current letters of reference. 5. Copies of credential(s) and/or transcript(s).
