Requirements / Qualifications
Experience and Education: • Possession of a valid California Education Specialist Moderate/Severe credential. • Possession of valid Autism Authorization. • Possession of a valid California EL authorization or equivalent

A complete application file consists of: • A completed certificated EDJOIN application; • An up-to-date resume; • Three current Letters of Recommendation that are dated and signed (from three different individuals) within the last 2 years; • Proof of a valid California Education Specialist Credential authorizing service as an Autism Teacher; • Proof of a valid Autism Authorization; • Proof of valid California EL Authorization or eligibility documents for EL Waiver Applicants must meet minimum qualifications and provide all necessary materials on-line prior to the stated deadline in order to qualify as a candidate.

The salary for the position is based on the certificated teacher’s salary schedule ($52,760 to $104,541) for 184 days of service. Up to 14 years of previous experience within the last 15 years are given for placement on the salary schedule.
