Nova Health Therapies, Inc. is currently seeking experienced Speech-Language Pathologist for full and part time school-based SLP or CFY opportunity. The professional will hold a current or be eligible for California State Speech Language Pathologist License or Clinical Fellowship.
Duties of the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Undertake assessment procedures, techniques, and standardized tests necessary for thorough and accurate diagnosis of communication disorders.
- Undertake development and implementation of Individualized Education Plan including initial, annual, triennial and interim plans
- Have knowledge and expertise in Special Education areas.
- Perform all other Speech Pathologist duties as assigned.
Requirements of the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Master's degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology Program
- Possess or be eligible for American Speech Hearing Language Association Certificate of Clinical Competence
- Current or eligible for Speech Language Pathologist License or Clinical Fellowship issued by State of Speech and Hearing Board of the State of California
- Experience in specific areas such as language disorders, speech sound disorders, and autism
- Knowledge of the principles, practices, methods and techniques of speech-language therapy
