Requirements / Qualifications
Eight years of successful full-time public school certificated service Three years experience as a teacher in a K-12 public school program Two years experience at a middle or senior high school One year of service in an administrative or supervisory position utilizing an administrative credential, such as assistant principal or equivalent position Minimum Requirements include: All minimum requirements must be met on or before the filing deadline. Verdugo Hills High School serves approximately 1,500 students in grades 9 – 12, including a Multi-Media Magnet and a Visual Arts and Performing Arts Magnet. The student population consists of: 55% Latino, 32% White, 29% Gifted and Talented, 14% Students with Disabilities, and 62% Social Economically Disadvantaged. The school is on a Copernican Schedule and Per Pupil Budget with an Extended School Based Management Model (ESBMM). The school is located at 10625 Plainview Avenue, Tujunga, CA 91042.
