Job Summary
Purpose Statement Under the general supervision of an assigned supervisor, identifies and develops prospective employment opportunities and provides pre-employment training and services to Simi Valley Unified School District students resulting in employment placement. A Job Developer/Coach is also responsible for monitoring program budgets and comprising data to support positive outcomes.
Requirements / Qualifications
Requires an associate degree or its equivalent from a recognized college with coursework in public relations, marketing, student counseling, communications, a social science, or a closely related field. Bachelor's degree desired in above mentioned fields. Paid experience in job development, job placement, employment counseling, career guidance or a closely related field is desired. Licenses and Certificates Possession of a valid California driver's license and evidence of insurability must be presented/available upon acceptance of offer of employment and maintained throughout employment.

To establish a list of eligible candidates that will be used to fill current and future vacancies (full and part-time) for the duration of the list, up to one year. The immediate vacancy is a 10-month, part-time (3 hours/day, 5:30PM - 8:30PM, Monday through Thursday) position located in the Simi Institute for Careers & Education.
