Requirements / Qualifications

A typing certificate, issued within the last TWO YEARS, for a MINIMUM OF 40 NET WORDS PER MINUTE must accompany the application. The certificate must include the name, address, and phone number of the issuing company/school along with gross words per minute, number of errors, and the length of the test (not less than THREE minutes). Online typing certificates are not accepted. Current District Employees working in a classification requiring a typing certificate of 40 WPM or more do not have to submit a certificate. A CLERICAL SKILLS TEST will be administered to selected applicants. Applicants who have previously passed this test are not required to take it again.

District employees may complete an online In-District application through Ed-join using a password-protected In-District Application (password is available from your School Secretary or the HR office); or download a paper District Employee Application available at our website (www.rocklinusd.org), and also available at school and district offices. Submit paper applications to the HR Dept., Attention: Alane McCue. District employees actively working in the job classification to which they apply will be given priority consideration.
