Qualification for employment includes completion of online training in the following areas: *New Employee Training *Preventing Workplace Violence *Bloodborne Pathogens *Sexual Harassment *Child Abuse/Mandated Reporter Upon offer of employment, candidates will receive information and directions regarding this training. Applicants must possess a valid California teaching credential or 30 Day Substitute Teaching Permit. A Multiple Subject Credential or Single Subject Credential is preferred.

- Copy of Transcript (Showing Bachelor's degree or higher; official, seal-intact transcripts will be required upon hiring)
- Credential Copy (Valid California Credential or 30 Day Substitute Permit )

- Test Results/Materials (CBEST test scores)

Substitute teachers will be assigned as needed.Substitute teachers will be placed on our list to fill our day to day needs.
*PLEASE NOTE: All Applicants will be required to submit a current TB Test and pass a Live Scan.
The cost of the Live Scan with our district is $53.00 in the form of a money order or agree to have it deducted from your first month's pay warrant once you have been contacted by our H.R. department.
The pay for substitute teachers is $145.00 per day.
The rate will increase to $165.00 per day upon the 31st consecutive day in the same assignment. Upon the 91st consecutive day in the same assignment the rate shall be the daily rate of Step 1, Column 1 of the Teachers Salary Schedule.
