Trivium Charter School, a Personalized Learning Public Charter School, is accepting applications for middle school and high school positions for the 2017-2018 school year. We are looking for a dynamic, engaging teachers who are interested in working in an environment where hands-on, project-based learning is emphasized and encouraged... and funded! (teachers receive a significant classroom budget)

Teachers are required to be in the classroom two days per week to teach.  However, this is a full time job as the other three days may include staff meetings, IEP's, and learning center events. Also, those three non-teaching days definately do include paperwork, prep, parent communication, collaboration, and reviewing, monitoring, and supporting student work. However, teachers may, in general, work where it is convenient for them - at home, at a learning center, at ???

Potential openings may be at any one of our learning centers: Santa Barbara, Lompoc, Santa Maria, Arroyo Grande, or Atascadero.  Openings may also be any grade 6-12 and possible various subjects, including English, Science, or History.  Middle school and high school teachers at Trivium will likely have two classes of middle school and one class of high school. Please note teachers are assigned to one learning center the entire year. However, there are staff meetings in Santa Maria once or twice per month. Also, Charter schools are have the flexibility to allow teachers to teach outside of their credential designation. 

First interviews of the pool of candidates in our hiring process will take place in mid and late April.
