Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Knowledge of child cognitive development and various learning styles • Knowledge of subject mater, including California Common Core Standards and subject-specific frameworks • Knowledge of assessments • Ability and willingness to implement the Readers and Writers Workshop Model
