- 4 years of recent law enforcement experience, including 2 years of experience at the rank of Police Sergeant or higher rank. - 2 years of experience at the rank of Military Police Sergeant or higher may be substituted for 2 years of experience as Police Sergeant or higher. - Bachelor's degree in Police Science, Law Enforcement, Administration of Justice, Business Management or Administration or position-related field from an accredited college or university. - Possession of a valid P.O.S.T. Supervisory Certificate. - Possession of a valid and appropriate California Driver's License or ability to obtain within one month of employment. - Please read "Job Description/Essential Elements" above to review additional qualifications for this position.
