Tutoring Job Description

Tutor responsibilities include:

Help students improve in academic areas through use of students current curriculim and REACH supplemental material.

Follow student’s individual tutoring needs.

Update parents to discuss goals and progress

Motivate the student by developing a positive relationship

Work with students one-on-one in their home

Qualified candidates will be credentialed teachers or substitute teachers, who are responsible, dependable and professional. Teachers must be willing to commit to students for months at a time. Candidates must know the material; have experience teaching and posses a good understanding of Common Core standards. No paperwork is required and lesson plan prep is not generally required. We utilize the student’s current school curriculum. This is a great part time job for teachers. 

Tutoring is on a one-to-one basis in the student’s home during late afternoon/early evening. Schedules are flexible. One of our Education Specialists visits with each student’s family, at their home, prior to any tutor being assigned. Tutors are assigned to students based on the tutor’s area of expertise and the student’s needs.

We work with students who's parent enroll them as well as students who are assigned to us by school district or charity organizations.
