The San Diego County Office of Education has a unique job opportunity for a Project Specialist, Student Support Services. Under administrative direction, coordinate, organize and direct efforts pertaining to the planning, design and implementation of activities and programming for the Student Support Services Department including but not limited to the following areas; Student Mental Health and Well-Being, Safe Schools, School Climate, and Student Engagement and School Counseling models.

CREDENTIALS, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Possession of or eligibility for a California Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Counseling is required. Possession of a valid California Class C driver’s license is required due to local, county and regional travel. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: EDUCATION: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university, with major coursework in education, education administration or related field. EXPERIENCE: At least five years of experience in school based pupil services activities. Proven successful practice of program implementation and monitoring and at least give years of experience in school based pupil services activities, specifically with School Counseling. Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, teachers, parents, students, and families and key stakeholders.
